Craig Gibsone is a long term member of the Findhorn Spiritual Community and was Manager of the Findhorn Studios Limited. This was a company formed in 1971 to run not only the Pottery Studio, but also the Weaving Studio and the Printing and Candle Making studios.

After his time running the Studio came to its conclusion, life took Craig in different directions. He has developed into a much sought after workshop and eco-village training leader. He has a passion for permaculture and organic gardening and is also a musician and artist in different media. His life’s wisdom is also recognized and he is a much respected community elder.

Recently his love of ceramics has been re-kindled and he now works in the Studio as a freelance artist, specializing in raw glazing and reduction firing in the Studio’s wood kiln. In his own inimitable way, he creates eccentric altered wheel thrown pots of spontaneity and beauty. Handbuilt pots are also one of his passions. Craig is invited from time to time to lead workshops and courses in ceramics in the Studio and his passion lights the fires of inspiration.
