Lynden first fell in love with Pottery during the three month long Essence of the Arts in Community Programme run by the Findhorn Foundation in 1996. When she returned home after the course she continued her connections with Pottery by following weekly classes in her local area. She regularly returned to the Findhorn Pottery for summer vacations and continued her studies and connections with the Pottery. In 1999 she made the decision to move to Scotland and after further study, continues to work in the Studio.
Her thrown work is fine and light in quality, using simple shapes and colours. She enjoys sculpting, mainly female figures at rest or dreaming and whimsical beings. Her inspiration comes from the natural world as well from her own dreams.
